Brimstone, also known as Phillip Norris, was born and raised in the Caribbean; The Commonwealth of Dominica. He picked up his first guitar at age 14.
This accomplished guitarist who writes, sings, plays bass, keyboards and drums, has built a solid reputation as a seasoned musician in New York, Texas, Florida, California, Arkansas and parts of the Caribbean.
Many great artists have influenced him such as Carlos Santana, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and more.
A sought after talent, Brimstone has contributed on many recordings, including tracks for artist like Terrence Trent Darby and Coolio. He has been in over 40 bands and has performed on hundreds of shows throughout his career.
Fire, also know as Lori Harris-Norris, was born in Oklahoma. Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was a toddler. Lori showed signs of her love for entertaining at the early age of five when she began ballet and tap with lessons that continued for ten years. Her performances and personality stood out while on recital stages throughout her childhood and adolescents.
Later, acting and singing became a great part of her high school and college years.
She then became involved in promoting, producing and booking artists and even started her own record label in the mid-1980's. This venture was a spin off from her Hollywood retail store, Royal Safari, which specialized in Caribbean, African and International gifts & crafts. At this time, Fire began singing first as a studio vocalist for hire, then with bands, including her own, “Women In Reggae”, where she sang in many live performances, as well as live TV and Radio. Brimstonewas one of the musicians she met during this time as he coached her to play Caribbean rhythms on keyboards and they became best friends. Four years later, their bond became much more.
Beginning in the early 90's, this husband and wife duo played on a weekly basis throughout Southern California for over a decade. They also played as a trio, four piece or with their full band, Judgement Day, when requested, where they have aroused crowds to roaring ovations at festivals and concerts.
In 2003 they traveled to France for the Cannes music festival, Midem International Music Market, where they performed their single, "Love's Gotta Hold On You", with an encore show at The Noga Hilton on the French Riviera.
They moved to Arkansas in 2004 to care for elders. Lori’s maternal grandfather grew up in Jamaica, before relocating to Arkansas as a young man.
They have also been know to switch there music style 180 degrees to perform classic tunes for senior residents and charities where they use an alternate stage name of Phil G.&Lori Marie.Their music is reaching a new fan base that welcomes a fresh and different style.
